In the center of the beach dominate the ruins of the Naustatmos of the Russian Mediterranean fleet of the 19th century.
Nearby is the islet of Daskaleio – Eros which you can visit even while swimming.

On the north coast of the island, Vagionia is located, an idyllic bay, with pebbles, clear waters and a green landscape with pine trees.
Ruins of an ancient city can be seen under the sea, a few meters from the shore.
Just 8 kilometers from Poros, Vagionia beach is accessible via a narrow road.
There is no bus and the only way to get there is by private transport.

It is one of the favorite spots of sailors and marine tourists, as it provides a separate shelter for boats. However, you can visit it on foot.

Askeli is a beautiful beach at a distance of 1.5 kilometers from Poros, northeast of the port. Beach with golden sand and clear shallow waters ideal for families and children.
Organized beach where you will find umbrellas, sunbeds, changing rooms, showers, beach volleyball court and water sports school. There are also several taverns so you can enjoy your meal whenever you want.
It has a continuous connection with the city of Poros by bus or taxi, while if you choose to walk you will need 15 to 20 minutes

It is located on the eastern side of the island, on the coastal road after Askeli. It is a quiet and organized beach with crystal clear waters below the hill that is the Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi.
The area is ideal for water sports and underwater fishing. On the organized beach there are sunbeds and umbrellas.
The Monastery has continuous communication with the town of Poros by buses, taxis or boats.
